Baby's First Fourth - Or The Roar of the Tractor

Hello! So much has happened since my last post. I traveled to Michigan for my first 4th of July. It was my second airplane trip and my third new state. Put a pin on my map! I got to Traverse City to see my Dad's side of the family. Besides Grandma and Grandpa Stafford, Uncle Bob, Aunt Beth, and Cousin Nick were there along with their two crazy dogs, Willy and Buddy. Dad took me to a Blue Angels airshow. He loved it - but I thought it was too loud and scary.

Mom and Dad didn't take me to any fireworks shows. They were past my bedtime and surely too loud for my taste.

I amazed my family by showing how I can climb stairs. I almost made it all the way up Grandma and Grandpa Stafford's staircase. While we were "Up North" I tried a few bites of my first pasty.

At my Great Aunt Karen and Uncle Pat's annual party I got to meet my Great Grandpa for the first time and a whole bunch of relatives. I also met my Great Grandma Jezewski. I really enjoyed pulling on her blinds and drooling on her carpet. That's how I show my love.

We also visited the Ebel family. They have 3 boys. I've never seen so many toys in my life. It was like heaven!

Here's some photos from my trip.

Alden's first Blue Angels show (Traverse City).

Alden's big milestone: first time climbing stairs. Look how high he got!

Alden inspecting the logo on Grandpa Stafford's shirt.

Alden with the Jezewski side, rolling through the woods on a tractor-like Mule.

Alden on Grandpa's new John Deere. Can a guy get a nap?

Alden on another tractor.

Four generations: Mom, Grandpa, Great-Grandma, and Alden. See Grandpa's tractor t-shirt? Noticing a theme here?

Alden's new friend, Alex, shows him how to play.

I look forward to my next trip to Michigan.

Big news - I have 3 teeth that have broken through on the top of my mouth. No more Gummy McGums!

That's it for now. Join me next time for my gym special.

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Halloween 2017

This week Alden turned seven. We went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa for an Outback dinner. This was the birthday of Nerf.

We had a great, active Halloween weekend.
