Toddler P-A-R-T-Y

This weekend we went for our first bike ride. I have my own trailer which gets hooked up to Mom's bike. I think biking is ok. I like going fast, but I don't like waiting around while Mom and Dad get ready and I'm not so keen on the helmet. I do think it's pretty funny when Mom has to figure out how to get up a hill hauling me. She better be working on her fitness. I'm not getting any smaller.

On Saturday I hosted a cookout for the Baby Steps gang. At first I was annoyed that Mom wouldn't let me get out certain toys with all the visitors there (like the real screwdriver I use to fix my toy laptop)...but soon I got into the party. I cannot wait for our next get together. Best of all, we got an updated picture. Mallory didn't like it though. She was stuck in the bedroom barking all night because Mom and Dad didn't want the doggies around all the tots.

Biker Alden.

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
