Go Bye-Bye

On Friday Paige and Maura and their Moms came over so the Moms could work on Christmas parade stuff. I didn't mean to be rude, but I wanted Mom's attention to myself that day so I told Maura's Mom to go bye-bye.

I'm working on developing enough language skills to embarrass Mom. I'm getting close. When Mom said she was going to take a shower, I said to her "get nude." When she said she was going to the bathroom I said "go poo-poo." It won't be long now before I can articulate something that will make her blush.

On Saturday Mom and Dad were busy with the parade so Grandma and Grandpa came over to hang with me. That evening we went to Outback for dinner and everyone couldn't believe how charming I was. Part of it was because I had my new Christmas snake stuffed animal. He kept biting everyone (in a friendly way).

Last night Mom and Dad took me to see some light show at someone's house. Boring. I kept saying "all done" and "bye-bye" but it look them forever to get it.

Today was a rough day. I have a very runny nose. Everyone is constantly coming at me, rubbing my face raw with tissues. I hate that. I hate not being able to breathe. I hate feeling yucky when I try to nap. BY BED TIME TONIGHT I'D HAD IT. I WANTED TO BE LEFT ALONE. I DIDN'T WANT OUT OF THE TUB. I DIDN'T WANT TO BE WASHED. I DIDN'T WANT MY DIAPER ON. I DIDN'T WANT MY PJ'S ON. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I WANTED SO I LET OUT ALL OF MY FRUSTRATIONS. ARRRGH!

Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Alden's new awesome winter hat!

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
