The Trouble with Tummy

I am resting up after a very busy weekend. On Friday, Aunt Katie (aka Aunt Kat) came in to town. After picking her up from the airport I wanted to show her PlayNation. That night we did a Facetime with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa showed me his boo-boo tummy.

On Saturday Dad and I went to a playground and looked at firetrucks while Mom and Aunt Katie did some crazy exercise class. We went to Pullen Park and rode all the rides. I took my nap in the car on the way home. In the afternoon Dad and Aunt Katie went to pick up some furniture for Nub's room.

Then we went to Claire's 1st birthday party. I cannot show you pictures yet because Mom forgot to upload them. Miss Kelly was there. I thought she lives in her classroom! We made puppets, did a story time (Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?), and played with a parachute.  For dinner I had hushpuppies and then some brown cake. Yum! It as awesome.

It all went downhill on Sunday. My breakfast brown milk did not stay down. It was a stomach bug. I won't give you all the details, but let's just say that the washing machine was running all day. I spent a lot of the day sleeping on Dad. In the evening, Mom and Aunt Katie tried to do some yoga, but I kept laying on Mom and Mallory kept getting under her. Just try to relax around us!

Today we took Aunt Katie back to the airport and Mom stayed home from work to hang with me. Mom and I took a lovely power-nap in the afternoon. Tomorrow will be a better day for my tummy.
Alden did not like his wake-up photo shoot. "Mama ALL DONE!"

A great place to nap when your tummy is upset.

Dropping off Aunt Kat at the airport :(

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
