Living it Up in The Steel City

We went on an airplane this weekend! It all started when I was woken up early from my nap on Friday. We had to go to the airport. My friend Cookie Monster came with us. After a short flight we arrived in Pittsburgh. We drove into the city and the skyline at night was really exciting. We met up with Aunt Kat, Uncle Scott, Aunt Jen, and Uncle Balex at Hard Rock so we could get pins for our collections. We then headed to an Italian place for dinner.

The next day we went to a train museum. I really enjoyed watching the trains go around and around. After I was torn out of there we went to lunch in an eat place that is housed in a former church. I got a mixed drink garnished with gummy worms. That place really knows how to do it up! The grown ups tried rattlesnake. No thanks! After lunch we went to the children's museum.

We stayed at Uncle Balex and Aunt Jen's place. They stuffed us with treats. We stayed up late and skipped our naps. Alden slept with Uncle Balex and Aunt Jen the first night and stuck his stinky feet in Uncle Balex's face. The second night Mommy stuck Alden in with Aunt Kat on the futon. I slept with Mommy and Daddy which was a fun treat. I woke up with huge smiles for Mommy! I only peed the bed once!

We enjoyed shooting their Nerf gun! I liked their cat Lola, but she wasn't so much into me.

On Sunday we had breakfast and then stopped by Aunt Kat's place. It was the first time we got to see it. Uncle Balex encouraged Alden to mess the place up. We are good at that.  Then we flew home. Alden and I both fell asleep by 6 p.m. which is really early for us. That's what happens when you party HARD all weekend!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Halloween 2017

This week Alden turned seven. We went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa for an Outback dinner. This was the birthday of Nerf.

We had a great, active Halloween weekend.
