Feeling Festive

We are enjoying the festivals and shows of the Christmas season. Right before Thanksgiving we went with our friends Molly and Emily to see a special children's symphony called "The Snowman." During the show, the North Carolina Symphony played music while a snowman cartoon played on a big screen and a local TV news lady read the story. It was Mommy's first symphony too.

On Friday we went to a special night time elves party at the children's museum. The best part was looking for snowflakes inside peppermint slime.

On Saturday we went to see the movie "Muppets Christmas Carol." Trent and I both did a good job sitting through it. Then we went to a Christmas craft show downtown. I didn't care about the crafts, but Trent and I spent a long time looking at the police car and firetruck. I asked all kinds of questions. The police and firefighters liked Trent and I's coats. I have a police jacket and Trent has a firefighter jacket. There was also a pirate making balloon animals and swords there.

Yesterday we went to see Rudolph The Musical. We liked it so much we would like to see it again.

Music time.

Fun at the slime table.

The police car was so new it only had 900 miles on it!

Firefighter Trent.

Captain Jack Sparrow made balloon swords.

More musical fun.

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Halloween 2017

This week Alden turned seven. We went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa for an Outback dinner. This was the birthday of Nerf.

We had a great, active Halloween weekend.
