Uno, Dos, Tres

I'm three! This is the first year I've really understood that a birthday is special. I kept telling people in my class (and anyone who would listen) that my birthday was coming.

On my birthday I got up early and asked for my presents. Alden wrapped them in Christmas paper and hid them for me. We went to Outback just as I asked for lunch, but then I didn't touch my food. When we got home we had digger cake. I had more fun making a mess of it than eating it.

Alden decorated my room with streamers.

Today I didn't cry at swim class and Mommy even caught me smiling.

Wishes over digger cake.

A festive mess.

No tears!

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
