We had a big hail storm last week. It sounded like someone was stomping on the house. It kept us from going to bed on time.

Alden had a bug this week and missed the science fair at school. Mom got the bug on Saturday. Thankfully she was better on Sunday.

The dog hunt continues. We had a foster dog named Ella over night Friday. Alex did not like her at all. We met a dog named Lily today. Mom and Dad loved her. Alex didn't bond with her.

We enjoyed going for a walk earlier in the week. They are cutting the trees down next to our neighborhood to put up another housing development. Mom and Dad are sad to see the trees go. We did enjoy watching the digger put big trees into a giant shredder.

Nature's marbles.

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
