The Age of Nerf

On Friday, we had our last day of swim lessons with Miss Shannon. Mom and Dad are proud of how far we've come. Earlier this week Trent got in big trouble from Mom for going into the deep end of the pool without an adult with him.

On Saturday I went to my classmate Aniela's birthday party. During pizza and cake, the boys sat on one side of the room and the girls on the other. Boys rule, girls drool.

Trent and I are obsessed with Nerf guns now. We cannot play with them around Betty because she chews up the bullets.

Party time, excellent.

Post hair cut lunch.

Follow the Nerf trail.

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
