Hot Rock

Mommy got a King Cake this weekend since Mardi Gras is coming. Alden was the lucky one to find the baby in his piece!

Mommy has been hoping and wanting for Alden to get interested in biking, but it just wasn't there. This weekend Daddy got a new bike. While we were at the bike store, Alden and Mommy were  looking at the kid bikes. They both really liked an orange and white one. The guy at the store told them they could take it outside and play with it. The guy gave Alden some tips for gliding on it since it didn't have training wheels. They went out in the parking lot and played with it. I was upset because I wanted to come out and ride also.

Alden ended up asking for the bike, and Mommy was so excited that he was interested in it that she told Daddy they had to get it.

I was so upset because Daddy and Alden got bikes and I didn't. Mommy said it was because the bike I have from cousin Trevor is so nice, and they will get me a bigger bike when I'm older.

Alden practiced on his bike Saturday, Sunday, and today. He's still nervous, but he can ride for long stretches on flat ground. He's not comfortable with hills yet. Mommy is so proud!

King cake!

Big boy bike.

No training wheels!

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.
