S'More Fun

Last weekend was Mother's Day. I invited Mom to my school to have muffins. I also gave her a painting that my teachers helped me make.

On Thursday Mom helped in Alden's class room for a bit. She checked some math and realized that soon Alden will outpace her ability to check homework without a calculator. Then she went to lunch with Alden in the cafeteria. Alden won't eat melted cheese in a quesadilla at home, but Mom busted him doing it at school.

On Saturday I went to Matthew's birthday party. Then we went camping with some friends. We had fun with the fire, playing in the sand, staying up late, eating s'mores, and trading Pokemon cards.

Bog Breath

Last week my pumpkin project book was due. I had to do a book report and make a pumpkin look like a character from the book. I chose "Dog Breath." It is about a dog with really stinky breath. They almost got rid of the dog, but she became a hero. She saved her family from some bad guys.

We had an open house on Friday so parents could come see our projects.

Dog Breath

I really like Nerf. I got to pick out one at Target this weekend for a belated birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy.

I typically cry at hair cuts or demand to wear googles, but tonight I was ok. I didn't cry.

Mommy and I got my pumpkin book project done tonight. I had to make a pumpkin look like a character in a book. We rocked the glue gun. We made the dog's bad breath out of stuffing Betty had pulled out of her dog bed. Creative!

Feeling Corny

On Saturday, Mommy and Trent took a Day of the Dead art class. They learned about the holiday and got to decorate their own skulls.

On Sunday we went to our first dog birthday. Bella across the street turned 4, so she had a park doggie playdate. Lucky her- we haven't done anything for Betty turning one yet.

We also went to our first pumpkin patch of the season.
