Enjoying the Weather

Today was Memorial Day. We started the day at Ellie and Will's 4th Birthday party. It was at a park and featured a Dora theme. We explored the woods and found fish in a little pond and tons of tiny frogs.

In the afternoon we went to Miss Jessica's pool and hung out. I'm always telling Mommy that I want to help with a baby. Tonight I got my chance. I got to hold Baby Henry. I gave him a toy and sang "Ba-ba Black Sheep" to him. The adults thought it was precious.

I pooped in the potty this evening. I asked Mommy for a fist bump and a high five. She was very happy. I told Mommy to remember to point her pp down when she goes.

Yesterday Mommy did a race that involved eating food. I want to run a race so I can get a popsicle too!

The Queen City

We went to Charlotte over the weekend. On Friday, Mommy and Daddy took us out to a grown-up pizza place. They had beads hanging all over. Trent thought Mommy's juice was really neat. He also thought it smelled like dragons outside.

We liked spending Friday night there because we got to sleep with Mommy and Daddy.

On Saturday we spent the whole day at the science museum. We went to a 3D movie about dinosaurs. Trent was too scared so Daddy had to take him out. We got to lay on a real bed of nails.

Yesterday we went to Miss Kelly's pool so the Mommies could practice swimming.

Trent tried cotton candy for the first time on Saturday. It was too complex for him to deal with. We met up with our friends Will and Ellie and their parents at Out Raleigh. We saw our first drag show there. We were not impressed, but we did like the bounce zone. After the festival, we went to the meatball eat place.

Mommy is busy getting her flowers planted. We helped her for a bit before getting bored.

Trent has finally discovered he can attempt to climb out of his crib. He hasn't done it yet, but he tried before Daddy grabbed him.

I enjoy taking Mommy's eye pillow.

I had a nice surprise for Mommy on Saturday evening. I came downstairs at 11:24 p.m. (after a lovely evening at Uncle Rob and Aunt Sue's) and asked Mommy for help because I had put my green slime in my hair. Turns out I couldn't get it out. Mommy pulled …
