Traveling Teddy

Traveling Teddy came home from school with me for the weekend. On Saturday we forgot to bring him out with us. We went to the life and science museum.

Tomorrow is Daddy's birthday. We made cards for him yesterday and baked a cake this evening.

Sushi Night

On Saturday we went to a neighbor's 43rd birthday party. It was at a sushi place. No way did I eat any of that. It was the first time I went off and sat with the other kids instead of Mommy and Daddy. I enjoyed taking pictures of the other kids with Mommy's phone.

Mommy is working on a haunted dog house prop. I helped her paint yesterday. It required two runs to Home Depot and Lowe's.

Tonight while Trent and I were putting too many bubbles in our bath, Betty chewed some of my carpet. Mommy blew her top.

79 Candles

Ok, there wasn't really 79 candles, but Grandpa Stafford did turn 79 on Saturday. On Friday, Aunt Sue organized a family dinner for him.

I enjoy taking pictures with iPhones.

We have some chalk bombs that we enjoy throwing at each other in the back yard. They are basically sock like bags and when you throw them colored chalk comes out. It is nice and dirty.

Vietnam Vet's Day

On Saturday the history museum had a special Vietnam Veteran's Day.  Out in the parking lot they had a truck and a helicopter. Trent and I both got to sit in the helicopter. The person who showed us the helicopter was a physician who did medical evacuations. Inside we got to met more vets and see uniforms, flags, helmets, tiger cages, and all kinds of other stuff. One vet showed us a model of the tunnels used. Mommy and Daddy didn't even know about that.

Saturday night Grandma and Grandpa hung out with us while Mommy and Daddy went to see Five for Fighting.

Because Betty is little and cute, she has been allowed up on the couch. She keeps trying to steal food from Trent. We are working on some manners.
